Trick-or-Treat on the Square is a free family-friendly event that celebrates the best of the fall season in the heart of the Greater Lansing region - downtown Lansing.
Trick-or-Treat on the Square made its debut in 2008 and is quickly becoming the premiere Halloween event in the region. The event is coordinated by Downtown Lansing Inc.’s Promotions Committee.
Historic Washington Square transforms into a gathering place for spook-tacular fall fun on the Wednesday before Halloween from 5:00-7:30 p.m. Trick-or-Treat on the Square offers little ghouls and goblins a safe place to haunt this Halloween.
In addition to collecting Halloween treats at candy stations along Washington Square, enjoying refreshments of cider and donuts, dancing in the street to Michael Jackson’s Thriller, making slime, watching a magic show, enjoying a hay ride, weaving through the Hay Maze, or being entertained by fire dancers and the High Five Stilt Guys, kids and their parents also get acquainted with the variety of businesses that are proud to call downtown Lansing their home.
We hope to see you and your family at Trick-or-Treat on the Square 2010 on October 27! (Rain date: October 28)
