Visitors will be able to see demonstrations of black kettle caramel corn, apple cider pressing, blacksmithing, weaving, spinning, wood carving and other old time activities. Visit a fur trader encampment, enjoy good food and live entertainment and take a covered wagon or boat ride. Children can visit the petting zoo, paint a pumpkin or dip a candle for a small fee.
The admission price is $3.00 for adults (seniors $2.00 Friday only) and $1.00 for children and is good for all three days.
See the fall colors and 60 foot sandstone ledges on the Grand River from the Princess Laura riverboat or rent a canoe.
Riverboat rides are $8.00 for adults and $3.00 for children. If you want to learn more about the history of the ledges and the river join Eaton County Parks naturalist Jackie Blanc for a boat ride down the Grand River and walk back along the river path and ledges to the island on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
View the colors from the air by taking a helicopter or airplane ride at the Grand Ledge Airport on N. Hartel Rd. Saturday or Sunday ,weather permitting.
Eaton County Parks are sponsoring bicycle tours from Fitzgerald Park and Fox Memorial Park on Saturday. Call (517) 627-7351 to register.
The Museum of the Grand Ledge Area Historical Society will be open each day from 12:00-4:00 featuring Getting Around: Travel in Grand Ledge at 118 S. Lincoln St.
The Capital City Old Car Club is sponsoring a car show on S. Bridge and Scott streets on Saturday from 10:00a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
